FemPositive and Vacha Resource Centre for Women and Girls have come together to host a feminist book reading & discussion on the fourth Saturday of every month. These sessions are an extension of our digital project #FeministReads

Women’s expressions and literature have a long, diverse and rich history. Yet, women’s writing in India has mostly been kept away from the mainstream.

The variety of writings, ranging from poetry to biographical sketches to chronicles of life in various periods throughout history to fiction stories are a doorway to understanding the lives, times and evolution of women’s thoughts.

For understanding women’s struggles, histories and movements, reading their works and works by women set in different periods becomes extremely crucial.

Write to us on fempositive@gmail.com or follow us on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram for updates on our upcoming sessions.
